What this service is
Immigration Adviser Finder is a directory and an introduction service. It republishes the Department of Justice's recognition roster and, where you ask, passes an enquiry to an attorney or a recognised organisation. It is not a law firm, it is not a recognised organisation, it employs no accredited representative, and nothing on it is legal advice about your case or anybody's. No page here states what the law requires of a situation, recommends one organisation over another, or ranks them.
How we are paid
Readers pay us nothing. Attorneys and recognised organisations that have agreed to receive enquiries pay us a flat introduction fee, the same for every recipient, when an enquiry is passed to them. It is never a share of a fee the reader pays, never contingent on the outcome of a matter, and it buys no position on any page: the register lists in the roster's own order and nobody can pay to move.
The register on this site
Every entry is reproduced from EOIR's published roster as it stood on the date each page states. It is a public record and may be quoted with attribution. An entry is not an endorsement, a rating or a promise that an organisation can take your case, and recognition can lapse between one roster and the next.
No warranty
The register is republished in good faith and the reduction that produces it is published with it so that anybody can check the page against the roster. It is supplied as it is. Contact details change, recognition expires, and the authority's own file is the record; where this site and the roster disagree, the roster is right and the error is ours to correct.
