How this register is read

• Counts are of roster entries exactly as the Executive Office for Immigration Review published them: recordCount for a state is the number of recognised OFFICES the roster places in that state, and cityCount is how many of its cities carry at least one.
• An organisation with offices in three states counts once in each, because the roster's row is an office.
• Nothing here is computed by us, nothing is estimated, and no organisation is ranked, scored or recommended.

Office type: what the roster's row is

Extension office

A further office of the same recognised organisation, listed by the roster under its own city with its own address and telephone number. Recognition belongs to the organisation, so an extension office is covered by it; it is not a separate organisation and this site does not present it as one.

Principal office

The address the organisation gave the Department of Justice as its main one. An organisation has exactly one, and it is where correspondence about its recognition goes.

Status: the roster's own word for the entry

Active

The roster lists the organisation as recognised, with the expiry date shown beside it.

Active (pending renewal)

The roster marks the entry with an asterisk, which its own key reads as pending renewal: recognition has reached or is reaching its expiry date and a renewal is with the Department of Justice. The organisation is still on the roster; this site reproduces the mark rather than deciding what it means for a particular case.
